Overview

Daniel Hiemer is a tax partner in the Munich office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP.

He is qualified as German attorney-at-law and German tax adviser and focuses on advising on all aspects of national and international tax law as well as on tax audit disputes and tax litigation. Prior to joining Kirkland, Daniel has inter alia held several senior positions in the Bavarian tax administration, where he has represented the Bavarian tax administration before tax courts and the Federal Tax Court.

World Tax (2024) rates him as “Highly Regarded” for General Corporate Tax in Germany.
