Ben James is a corporate partner in the Hong Kong office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Ben focuses on corporate and securities law matters, including US equity and debt registered offerings, Rule 144A/Regulation S equity and debt offerings, private placements and H share offerings. He has worked extensively across the Greater China region, particularly in the energy and technology sectors. He has experience in advising Chinese issuers and international underwriters in capital markets transactions, as well as in advising public and private companies and financial institutions in mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions.
