James King is an investment funds partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. James advises and represents his clients across a full spectrum of fund transactional mandates, including LP-portfolio sales, GP-led transactions, tender offers and direct co-investments. James also has extensive experience of advising clients on sponsor strategic transactions, including GP minority stake transactions, fund and sponsor level preferred equity transactions, joint ventures and other strategic acquisitions or disposals of asset management businesses.
