Sarah Kirson is a partner in the Investment Funds Group in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Sarah focuses her practice on structuring, forming and advising premier private equity, venture capital, energy and other private investment funds and their management companies. She has represented sponsors in forming funds ranging in size from under $100 million to several billion dollars.
Sarah is also involved in representing investors in making investments in private funds, secondary market sales, as well as other complex business transactions and operational events.
Sarah has been ranked in Chambers USA since 2012. In 2015, she was noted as "phenomenal." In the 2014 edition, Chambers USA says, “Sarah Kirson has a wide range of expertise and experience in the private equity world. Her ability as an “excellent negotiator” is praised by clients as is her responsiveness.”
