Overview

Deneese Walia Levin is a corporate partner in the Chicago office and has provided legal and strategic guidance to global clients on a range of complex financing transactions. With over 15 years of legal experience, Deneese has represented private equity funds and their portfolio companies, credit funds, commercial lending institutions and other private and public companies in connection with the negotiation, structuring and documentation of secured and unsecured financing transactions.

Deneese presently leads the strategy, markets & knowledge team for Kirkland’s U.S. Debt Finance practice, with wide-ranging responsibility for client engagement, market intelligence/strategy, knowledge resources, thought leadership, attorney education, and internal legal transformation and efficiency efforts. Deneese utilizes the Firm’s global platform to provide counsel on legal and financing matters involving market developments, transaction structures and loan market dynamics.
