Jonathan Ma is an intellectual property litigation associate in Kirkland’s Los Angeles office. He has significant experience in all aspects of litigation from pre-filing analysis to post-trial motions. His practice focuses on patent infringement litigation involving a wide range of technologies, including networking hardware, online customer service platforms, and wireless communications. He also has unique experience with fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (“FRAND”) and Abbreviated New Drug Application (“ANDA”) litigation.

Jonathan Ma also maintains an active pro bono practice, including serving as Special City Prosecutor for the City of Redondo Beach. In that capacity, he has first-chaired and won a jury trial relating to misdemeanor driving under the influence on behalf of the People of the State of California. His other experience includes successfully representing sign language plaintiffs in a federal action brought mainly under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
