Nicolas Molina, Jr. is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense matters, government enforcement actions, and complex civil litigation. Nic's broad experience includes multifaceted commercial litigation, sensitive internal investigations, insider trading allegations, regulatory compliance issues, M&A disputes, shareholder derivative suits, securities class actions, and international arbitrations. Nic also provides counseling on cybersecurity and data privacy law compliance and corporate governance matters. Nic's diverse experience spans both federal and state court practice and presentations before government agencies such as the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Nic has extensive experience in motion practice, mediations, trials, and appeals.
Nic is also committed to providing free access to legal services and maintains an active pro bono practice. In his pro bono work, Nic has assisted victims of gender-based violence, helped overturn wrongful convictions, and represented clients seeking asylum. Nic also invests significant time through volunteer work in public schools and assisting in community legal clinics.
