• Valor Upstream Credit Partners, L.P., an upstream credit fund formed by Riverstone Credit Partners and Vitol, in a senior secured term loan with Recoil Resources, a privately held oil and gas
• Magnolia Oil & Gas (NYSE: MGY) in its $300 million acquisition of 48,000 net acres in Giddings
• NexTier Oilfield Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: NEX) in its $5.4 billion merger of equals with Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: PTEN)
• ONEOK, Inc. (NYSE: OKE) in its $18.8 billion acquisition of Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. (NYSE: MMP)
• Crescent Energy Company (NYSE: CRGY) in its $600 million acquisition of Western Eagle Ford assets from Mesquite Energy, Inc.
• A private equity fund in the simultaneous sales of substantially all assets of two upstream oil and gas companies with complimentary interests valued at approximately $215 million in aggregate and subject to commodity price and production-based earn-out purchase price increases
• RimRock Oil & Gas LP, a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus LLC, in its $865 million sale of leasehold interest and related assets in the Williston Basin to Devon Energy Corp. (NYSE: DVN) 
• Formentera Partners in its acquisition of upstream oil and gas assets and carbon capture assets from Rockall Energy Holdings as part of the 363 sales process of the debtor seller 
• TPG Rise Climate, a global impact investing platform managed by TPG Global, on its 1/3 equity investment in Monarch Bioenergy, a joint venture between Roeslein Alternative Energy and Smithfield Foods that is a leader in capturing agricultural methane emissions and converting them into carbon-negative renewable natural gas 
• Brazos Midstream in its acquisition of the Pecos Gas Gathering System from Rattler Midstream (NASDAQ: RTLR)
• Brazos Midstream in its acquisition of the Mustang Springs Gas Gathering System from Diamondback Energy (NASDAQ: FANG)
• GPI Capital in its $175 million growth equity investment in Hopper Inc., a leading travel fintech company
• The Blackstone Group and its portfolio companies, Swallowtail Royalties and Swallowtail Royalties II, on the definitive purchase and sale agreement with Viper Energy Partners LP, a subsidiary of Diamondback Energy, Inc., to acquire certain mineral and royalty interests from Swallowtail 
• Solera Holdings Inc. in its acquisition of Spireon, a device-independent telematics and connected vehicle intelligence company
• Foreland Investments LP (a private equity sponsored portfolio company) in its sale of operated assets in the Midland Basin to Earthstone Energy, Inc. (NYSE: ESTE) for approximately $73 million of aggregate consideration consisting of cash and stock
• Brightstar Capital Partners in its acquisition of a majority stake in Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leading national provider of fleet maintenance and repair services 
• Private equity fund in its formation of a non-operated drilling arrangement for the development of New Mexico oil and gas assets
• Private equity fund in a joint venture to acquire royalty interests on wind generation projects
• Oasis Petroleum Inc. and its affiliates in connection with the corporate aspects of their prepackaged Chapter 11 cases filed in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas to restructure approximately $2.3 billion in debt obligations. Oasis is a Houston, Texas based company that operates in the upstream and midstream oil and gas sectors. Oasis also operates a midstream business segment and holds a majority interest non-debtor subsidiary Oasis Midstream Partners LP, which is a publicly traded master limited partnership. The Chapter 11 plan equitizes more than $1.8 billion of unsecured debt and provides for committed DIP to exit financing
• The Carlyle Group in the acquisition of a controlling interest in a marine terminal joint venture
• Vortus Investments on its partnership with Flat Creek Resources LLC to develop existing oil-rich assets in Eddy County, New Mexico in the Delaware Basin through Stateline Operating LLC 
• Santa Fe Midstream, a portfolio company of Energy Spectrum, on its sale of Permian Basin gas gathering and processing assets to Stakeholder Midstream 
• National Fuel Gas Company and affiliates Seneca Resources Company, LLC, NFG Midstream Covington, LLC and National Fuel Gas Midstream Company, LLC in the approximately $500 million (after closing adjustments) acquisition of upstream and midstream assets located in Pennsylvania from SWEPI LP, a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc

• A private equity sponsored energy company in its sale of oil and gas assets to a public E&P company for cash and restricted stock consideration
• A private equity sponsored energy company in its sale of multiple oil and gas asset packages located in Alaska
• A private energy company in its $580 million acquisition of natural gas and oil producing properties in the Jonah and Pinedale fields and surrounding area
• A private equity fund in structuring its investment in a private energy company operating in Texas and Louisiana
• A public E&P company in multiple divestitures of its Eagle Ford Shale assets
• A private equity fund in its investment exit through a forced share buy-back transaction
• Verdad Oil & Gas Corporation in its formation of Verdad Resources Holdings LLC in partnership with funds managed by Ares Management, L.P.
• A private equity sponsored energy company in its asset exchange in settlement of an active lawsuit
• A private equity sponsored energy company in its $75 million acquisition of assets located in the Williston Basin from a Chapter 11 proceeding in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware
