Carl Pickerill is a restructuring partner in the Munich office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP.

He represents hedge funds, equity sponsors, lenders and debtors in all aspects of distressed M&A transactions. In his practice, Carl provides advice regarding strategic restructuring alternatives, including with respect to German in-court and other statutory restructuring instruments, English Schemes of Arrangement and similar processes, U.S. Chapter 11 proceedings and other in- and out-of-court negotiated solutions. He also advises on securities law matters with respect to high yield bond issuances.
