Courtney is a corporate partner in the Dallas office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice focuses on strategically important and complex transactions, including private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financial sponsor-management team partnerships, private financings, recapitalizations, preferred equity investments and restructurings. She also represents clients in connection with general corporate governance matters. Courtney has broad experience counseling private equity investors and their portfolio companies, public companies and management teams in a variety of industries, with a particular focus on the upstream, midstream, downstream, oilfield services and infrastructure sectors.
