Sheila Salehpour’s practice focuses on advising clients on technology and intellectual property-focused commercial, M&A, and debt financing transactions in the consumer products, media and entertainment, lifestyle, financial services, hospitality, internet, and software industries. Sheila’s extensive experience includes representing private equity firms and their portfolio companies, and private and public companies in connection with complex transactions and subject matters, including:

  • Domestic and cross-border M&A and carve-out transactions;
  • Intellectual property licensing agreements (including with respect to trademarks, content, and media);
  • Technology-focused strategic partnerships and joint development arrangements;
  • Outsourcing and other independent contractor agreements;
  • Supply, distribution, and service agreements;
  • Protection of trade secret rights and rights of publicity; and
  • Data privacy and cybersecurity matters.

Sheila has a particular interest in the intersection of business and law, which she leverages in efficiently helping clients navigate through complex and challenging transactions. While at UC Berkeley School of Law, Sheila served as a Board Executive on the Berkeley Business Law Journal. She previously interned at the Clorox Company as a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Scholar.
