Advising Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in connection with a scheme of arrangement by its Hong Kong subsidiary, Lehman Brothers Asia Holdings Limited.
Advising Studio City in connection with amendments to and the refinancing of its US$1.4 billion senior secured term loan and revolving facilities.
Advising the ad hoc Steering Committee of bondholders of Kaisa Holdings in relation to Kaisa’s outstanding US$2.5 billion of defaulted bonds.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Robert has advised on the following:
Acting for a Middle East based shipbuilding and ship repair company in connection with its in-court debt restructuring.
Acting for a major Middle East holding group in connection with its debt restructuring.
Acting for the administrators and receivers of companies in a mining group operating primarily in Africa.
Acting for lenders in connection with financial restructurings of Russian and Ukrainian aluminum and steel groups.
Acting for the coordinating committee of senior lenders in connection with the financial restructuring of an Irish energy group.
Acting for lenders in connection with the financial restructuring of a major European technical services group.
Acting for lenders in connection with the financial restructuring of a global wind turbine manufacturer.
Acting debtor and creditor side in connection with two separate financial restructurings of UK hotel groups.
