Nathan Schuur is a corporate associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he is a member of the Investment Funds Group. His practice focuses on regulatory issues arising under the Advisers Act and 1940 Act, CFTC issues and other regulatory and compliance topics. He has extensive experience advising clients regarding preparation for and response to SEC examinations. He regularly drafts and revises Form ADVs, compliance manuals or other policies and procedures, advisory agreements and periodic filings. Additionally, he has assisted private equity, credit, hedge, real estate and other funds with regulatory issues arising during fundraises and continuing operations, as well as the formation and operation of private investment funds and their sponsors.
