BASF v. SNF, 955 F.3d 958 (Fed. Cir. 2020): Successfully represented BASF as plaintiff in a patent infringement appeal involving superabsorbent polymer technologies. The Federal Circuit reversed in part and vacated in part the district court’s summary judgment of invalidity.
Oyster v. Cisco, 816 F. App’x 438 (Fed. Cir. 2020): Successfully represented Cisco as defendant in an appeal from a patent-infringement suit involving networking technologies. The Federal Circuit affirmed summary judgment in Cisco’s favor.
Janssen Biotech v. Celltrion Healthcare, 796 F. App’x 741 (Fed. Cir. 2020): Successfully represented Celltrion as defendant in two BPCIA patent-infringement appeals. The Federal Circuit affirmed that Celltrion did not infringe any valid patents.
Arkema v. Honeywell, 939 F.3d 1345 (Fed. Cir. 2019): Successfully represented Honeywell as patent owner in an appeal involving automobile refrigerant compositions. The Federal Circuit vacated the PTAB’s decision as arbitrary and capricious, and remanded.
Allergan v. Sandoz, 717 F. App’x 991 (Fed. Cir. 2017): Successfully represented Sandoz as defendant in an appeal from a three-patent Hatch-Waxman suit. The Federal Circuit affirmed Sandoz’s non-infringement of two patents and reversed the district court’s infringement judgment as to the third. Successfully opposed Allergan’s petition for rehearing.
