Since joining Kirkland, Sal’s representative matters have included:

• Voyager Digital Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates in their Chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Voyager Digital is one of the largest cryptocurrency platforms in the world, allowing customers to buy, sell, trade, and store more than 100 cryptocurrencies and supporting over $1.3 billion in aggregate cryptocurrency holdings on the platform. Voyager’s Chapter 11 cases mark one of the first restructurings of a major cryptocurrency company.  

Prior to joining Kirkland, Sal’s representative matters included:

• Pfingsten Partners in its:
  
  • $580 million sale of Dynapower, a leader in energy storage and power conversion systems, to Sensata Technologies.
  • Sale of Oliver Inc., a provider of specialty packaging solutions, to Tenex Capital Management.
• May River Capital in its sale of Precision Roll Solutions, a full-service provider of precision roll solutions and related process componentry, to Guardian Capital Partners.
• RoundTable Healthcare Partners in its investment in Polymedco, a distributor of diagnostic tests primarily used for colorectal cancer screening and detection of cardiac conditions.
• Groundworks, a portfolio company of Cortec Group, in various add-on acquisitions.
• NaviMed Capital in connection with its sale of Lighthouse Lab Services to Martis Capital.
• Private equity firms, including Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Company, Cortec Group, DW Healthcare Partners, H.I.G. Capital, May River Capital, Pfingsten Partners, Wynnchurch Capital, and their respective portfolio companies, in connection with various acquisitions, divestitures, corporate governance matters, recapitalizations, and acquisition financings.
