Overview

Jaime Wamble is an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Jaime has substantive experience counseling employers on issues pertaining to federal, state, and local employment and labor laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the National Labor Relations Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, and the Railway Labor Act.

In the transactional setting, Jaime conducts acquisition-related due diligence and risk assessment, and she counsels clients on post-acquisition and restructuring-related labor and employment issues. Though Jaime's current practice is primarily transactional, she also possesses litigation experience. To that end, Jaime has represented employers against claims brought by current and former employees in federal and state court, as well as charges brought before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In the unionized workplace, Jaime has represented employers in arbitration arising out of alleged violations of collective bargaining agreements. Jaime has additional experience advising employers on legal issues pertaining to union elections and union decertifications.
