Overview

Jaime Wamble is an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Jaime has significant experience advising clients on labor and employment matters in the context of national and multi-national corporate transactions, including negotiating and drafting labor and employment provisions of merger agreements and purchase agreements, and conducting due diligence and risk assessment of a target’s labor and employment law compliance. In addition, Jaime counsels clients on executive and senior management separations, and negotiates and prepares separation agreements, employment agreements and restrictive covenants. Jaime also has substantive experience advising clients on legal issues affecting the workplace, including reductions in force, union matters, and other issues arising under federal, state, and local employment and labor laws, including wage and hour laws and anti-discrimination and anti-harassment laws.

Though Jaime's current practice is primarily transactional, she also possesses litigation experience. To that end, Jaime has represented employers against claims brought by current and former employees in federal and state court, as well as charges brought before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In the unionized workplace, Jaime has represented employers in arbitration arising out of alleged violations of collective bargaining agreements.
