Bailey Watkins is an associate in the Austin office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Bailey works on a range of intellectual property matters, focusing on patent litigation and licensing. Her technical background in electrical engineering includes experience with microprocessors, software development, electronic instrumentation, circuit design and optimization, and product development. Bailey’s industry experience includes the design and development of microfluidic devices and electromagnetic field modeling.

Bailey regularly handles complex disputes involving concurrent proceedings in Federal Courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has represented clients in a broad spectrum of technologies, including memory devices, multiband antenna arrays, computer software, and data processing. Further, Bailey has experience in drafting and prosecuting patents before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Her patent prosecution experience includes work in various technologies including computer hardware and software, medical devices, and drilling systems.
