Frank Wei is an intellectual property partner in Kirkland’s New York office. Frank’s practice focuses on advising clients on a wide variety of commercial matters involving intellectual property, including with respect to intellectual property licensing and analysis, protection of trade secrets and privacy, and service agreements (including research, development, marketing, manufacturing, supply, distribution and other services) involving intellectual property. In addition, his experience includes evaluating and advising on intellectual property and technology issues that arise in general corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity and debt financing transactions. He has worked on intellectual property matters involving various types of businesses, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, electronics, software, retail, consumer goods, financial services, and energy, among others.
