Jimmy Xi is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels.
Before joining Kirkland, Jimmy served as a law clerk to Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh of the United States Supreme Court and Judge Jeffrey S. Sutton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He also served as an appellate attorney for the Civil Division of the Department of Justice, where he briefed and argued cases in the federal court of appeals and prepared draft briefs for the Solicitor General for filing in the U.S. Supreme Court.
