"'We went through a traumatic and dramatic time,' said Jonathan S. Henes, a bankruptcy partner with Kirkland & Ellis. 'We saw companies across industries just hit rock bottom.' But those businesses that prevailed are facing a rosier prognosis now that the great recession has run its course.
'The good news about hitting rock bottom is, if you survive, there's only one way to go and that's up,' Henes said. 'A lot of companies that hit rock bottom are now making their way up.'"
