Hot List 2022 Young Attorney of the Year
Lawyers of Color has named Kirkland associate Seantyel Hardy to its 2022 Annual Hot List. Honorees were chosen based off of nominations from mentors, peers and colleagues, as well as through editorial research of attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments, giving special attention to candidates who were active in diversity pipeline initiatives.
Seantyel's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and government investigations. She also maintains an active pro bono practice mainly focused on intellectual disability in capital cases. For her work in this area, Seantyel was recognized as a “Litigator of the Week” runner-up by The American Lawyer Litigation Daily for helping to secure a rare Texas ruling vacating a death sentence for ineffective assistance of counsel.
