Kirkland & Ellis Receives 100 Percent Score on HRC’s 2012 Corporate Equality Index

Kirkland & Ellis LLP received a 100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) 2012 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) survey. This is the fifth year in a row that the Firm received a 100 percent score on the survey.

HRC is the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals. The CEI report, released each year, provides an in-depth analysis and rating of large U.S. employers and their policies and practices pertinent to LGBT employees. The CEI rates companies on 40 specific policies and practices, 32 of which are new or more demanding this year. Businesses that receive 100 percent scores are recognized in HRC's "Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality" list and are considered among the most inclusive and fair-minded in their industry.
