Kirkland & Ellis International LLP represents leading European private equity firm Mid Europa Partners in its agreement to partner with the founders of Walmark a.s. by acquiring a 50 percent stake in the company. Walmark is a leading independent vitamins, minerals and dietary supplements manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed in Q4 2012.
