Kirkland & Ellis International LLP is pleased to announce that Dr. Jörg Kirchner will join the Firm’s Munich office as a partner in the Corporate Practice Group. Dr. Kirchner focuses his practice on the full range of private equity and M&A transactions.

Dr. Kirchner joins Kirkland from the Munich office of Latham & Watkins, where he was a founding partner and formerly acted as the office managing partner and vice chair of the global corporate department. He advises clients on private equity and M&A matters, handling both cross-border and national transactions, including LBOs, minority investments, joint ventures and carve-outs.

Dr. Kirchner holds an LLM from George Washington University Law School and a Dr. jur. from the University of Munich.
