Kirkland represented long-time client Oaktree Capital Management L.P. in its definitive agreement to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of NAPEC Inc., a Canada-based energy company, for CA $1.95 in cash per share. The CA $1.95 in cash per share represents a 35.4 percent premium to the closing price on Dec. 1, 2017.
