Kirkland & Ellis International LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew Czyzyk has joined the Firm’s London office as a partner in the Restructuring Practice Group. Mr. Czyzyk focuses his practice on financial restructurings and special situations mandates for a wide range of stakeholders including individual lenders, steering committees, sponsors, borrowers and insolvency officeholders.
In addition to the arrival of Mr. Czyzyk, associates Jack Mead, Alexandra Caddy and Peter Madden will be joining Kirkland’s London restructuring team.

Mr. Czyzyk joins Kirkland from the London office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy where his experience included special situations transactions and complex restructurings across Europe. Mr. Mead joins from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, Ms. Caddy joins from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Mr. Madden joins from Norton Rose Fulbright.
Mr. Czyzyk holds an M.A. (Hons) from Worcester College, Oxford.
