Mergers in the California Marketplace

There have been literally thousands of new corporations established in California during the past decade, as Silicon Valley in Northern California, San Diego, and several California universities have continued to be a hotbed for start-up companies and corresponding venture capital investments.  As part of the natural evolution of these companies, it is now the case that some owners have been concentrating on various exit strategies to obtain liquidity from their investments.  In this article, from the Venture Capital Review, Kirkland partners Stephen D.
