Overview

Stan Wash is a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Stan focuses his practice on a broad range of complex commercial disputes, including environmental and toxic torts and various M&A-related matters. Stan represents clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts and arbitrations, on both the plaintiff and defense side. Stan has extensive experience in mass tort, class action, and MDL proceedings, as well as various M&A dispute scenarios, including purchase price adjustment and earn out arbitrations, valuation disputes and other employment matters. Stan also has a robust pro bono practice, including successful representations of wrongly convicted, indigent and other victimized individuals. Stan previously clerked in the Northern District of Illinois for the Honorable Robert M. Dow, Jr.
