Frank Cicero's reputation as a litigator stems from his extensive experience in a wide variety of litigation matters in federal and state trial and appellate courts and in arbitrations. His areas of practice include accountants', architects' and attorneys' professional malpractice, admiralty and maritime law, antitrust and trade regulation, criminal and civil fraud and securities law, trademark and patent claims, commercial contracts, construction litigation, libel, slander, and First Amendment cases, tax disputes, trade secrets, unfair competition, employment contracts, pollution and toxic substance cases, international arbitrations and litigation, dealer and franchise relationships and terminations, trust, estates and ERISA disputes, divorce and domestic relations law, product liability and warranty claims. He has tried numerous jury trials, numerous bench trials and arbitrations, and handled numerous appeals. Frank joined Kirkland & Ellis in 1965 and became a partner in 1970. He has authored several articles and is a frequent lecturer on trial and appellate advocacy, federal practice and procedure, litigation and other subjects.
