Overview

Sarah Roberts is a partner in the Investment Funds Group in the Bay Area office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Sarah has represented domestic and international sponsors on forming, marketing and operating private investment funds pursuing a wide variety of investment strategies (including buyout, credit, growth equity, infrastructure, real estate and venture) as well as on structuring, regulatory and compliance issues. She has also worked with sponsors on internal management, co-investment and carried interest arrangements, restructurings, secondary market sales, joint ventures and other investment management matters.

Sarah has represented sponsors in forming funds ranging in size from under $100 million to several billion dollars. Additionally, Sarah has significant experience in forming and negotiating managed accounts and single investor funds.

Sarah’s representative clients include Thoma Bravo, White Oak Global Advisors, Marlin Equity Partners, Bertram Capital, BlackSand Capital, Blue Point Capital Partners, Hellman & Friedman, Activate Capital and Cambium Capital.
