Views from the Bench 2009

 The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and Georgetown University Law Center are hosting a joint conference “Views From the Bench” on Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. The conference will offer a unique opportunity for bankruptcy practitioners and judges to convene and discuss timely topics, including steering through the auto crisis, retail cases, bankruptcy and the Supreme Court, asset sales, current issues in plan confirmation and ethics.

Kirkland & Ellis partner James Sprayregen will facilitate the “New Dilemmas in DIP Financing: roll-ups; disclosure of fees and costs; plan control provisions; exit financing; claims against the pre-petition lenders as DIP lenders; use of the challenge period; waiver of claims against lenders; gap between interim and final; lessons learned from LandSource” session.
