Kirkland Represents Bain Capital Private Equity and Bow Street in $500 Million Acquisition of Blue Nile

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represented an investor group of funds managed by Bain Capital Private Equity and Bow Street LLC, which announced today they have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire leading online jeweler Blue Nile (NASDAQ: NILE). The investor group will acquire 100 percent of the outstanding shares of Blue Nile common stock for approximately $500 million. The transaction is expected to close in the first calendar quarter of 2017. More information on the deal is available here.
