Kirkland Advises on Closing of CD Capital Natural Resources Fund III

Kirkland & Ellis has advised CD Capital, a London-based specialist natural resources and mining private equity manager, which recently closed CD Capital Natural Resources Fund III. The fund was closed with aggregate capital commitments of US$355 million. The fund, which will make investments in global natural resources and mining companies and projects, accepted commitments from a broad mix of global institutional investors, including endowments, foundations, family offices and fund of funds.

The Kirkland team was led by London-based investment funds partner Christopher Braunack and associates Jennifer Feng and Aisling Campbell and New York-based tax partner David Grenker.
