Kirkland Counsels Blackstone and Sanchez Energy on Anadarko’s Eagle Ford Acreage Deal
Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Blackstone (NYSE:BX) on its strategic 50/50 partnership with Sanchez Energy Corp. (NYSE:SN) to acquire, with funds managed by Blackstone Energy Partners L.P., Anadarko Petroleum Corp.’s (NYSE:APC) working interest in approximately 318,000 gross acres in the Western Eagle Ford for approximately $2.3 billion.
