Kirkland Advises Cision, Inc. in Merger with Capitol Acquisition Corp.

Kirkland & Ellis advises Canyon Holdings S.A.R.L. (Cision, Inc.), a leading global provider of cloud-based earned media solutions, in its merger with public investment vehicle Capitol Acquisition Corp. III. As a result of this merger, Cision will become a publicly listed company with an anticipated initial enterprise value of approximately $2.4 billion. Under the terms of the proposed business combination, Cision and Capitol Acquisitions will become wholly owned subsidiaries of a new publicly traded entity.
