Private Equity International Awards

Kirkland won four awards at the 2016 Private Equity International Awards, including Law Firm of the Year in North America (Transactions), Law Firm of the Year in North America (Secondaries), Law Firm of the Year in Asia (Secondaries) and Law Firm of the Year in Europe (Secondaries). The awards “showcase the firms that have, in the eyes of their peers, set the benchmark during the year.”

In the transactions category, Kirkland was recognized for representing numerous private equity firms in multimillion-dollar transactions, including Bain Capital, Vista Equity Partners, Golden Gate Capital and Warburg Pincus. The firm was involved in secondary transactions representing more than $7 billon during 2016, working on many headline deals across the globe for clients such as American Capital, Partners Group, Harbour-Vest Partners and Madison India Capital Management.
