Kirkland & Ellis LLP represents Brentwood Associates a leading consumer-focused private equity investment firm in its significant non-controlling investment in Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza. Blaze is the nation’s leading fast-casual pizza chain with over 200 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Brentwood’s investment in Blaze is its sixth investment in the restaurant industry. Brentwood also owns three California-based restaurants, Lazy Dog Restaurants, Pacific Catch and Veggie Grill. The full terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
