Global Legal Awards 2017

The American Lawyer recognized Kirkland in connection with two awards as part of its fifth annual Global Legal Awards, which honor matters that demonstrate the industry's ability to navigate complex international legal issues. The awards honor the biggest and most distinguished cross-border commercial legal matters. Kirkland was recognized for:

• “Global Finance Deal of the Year: Insolvency and Restructuring (U.S.)” for the restructuring of Roust Corp.
• “Global Finance Deal of the Year: Insolvency and Restructuring (Africa)” for the restructuring of Edcon
