Kirkland Represents Funds Advised by Apax on Acquisition of Majority Stake in MATCHESFASHION.COM

Kirkland & Ellis is representing funds advised by Apax Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in MATCHESFASHION.COM, a UK-based luxury fashion brand. MATCHESFASHION.COM was founded in 1987 and now sells garments from more than 450 designers to customers in 176 countries. The value of the transaction, which was announced on September 1, 2017, was undisclosed.

The Kirkland team was led by London corporate partners, Rory Mullarkey, James Learner and Andrej Wolf, debt finance partners Neel Sachdev and Kirsteen Nicol, tax partner Dulcie Daly and technology & IP transactions partner Emma Flett.
