Turnaround & Transaction of the Year Awards 2017

The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) honored Kirkland with three global Turnaround & Transaction of the Year Awards. The Firm won “Transaction of the Year - Mega Company” for the restructuring and spin-off of Texas Competitive Electric Holdings Company LLC, “Transaction of the Year - Large Company” for the restructuring of Sabine Oil & Gas and “Transaction of the Year - Midsize Company” for the restructuring of Penn Virginia. The restructuring of Sabine Oil & Gas also won "Transaction of the Year - Large Company" at the TMA Chicago-Midwest Chapter Awards. Since 1993, TMA has honored excellence through its annual awards program, which recognizes the most successful turnarounds and impactful transactions.
