Kirkland Counsels on Creation of Valence Media -- A New Diversified Media Company

Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal counsel in connection with the creation of Valence Media (Valence), a diversified media company with divisions or investments in premium television, wide release film, specialty film, live entertainment and digital media. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. As a combination of three successful media companies, Billboard-Hollywood Reporter Media Group, dick clark productions and MRC, Valence will leverage the expertise and resources of all three businesses and seek new business development opportunities.
