Asia Legal Awards 2018

The Asian Lawyer honored Kirkland & Ellis with four awards at the Asia Legal Awards 2018. The Firm was recognized for its work on the following deals:

• “M&A Deal of the Year: Southeast Asia” - Global Logistic Properties’ acquisition by a Chinese consortium
• “Finance Deal of the Year: Insolvency and Restructuring” - PT Bumi Resources’ $4.5 billion global debt restructuring
• “Securities Deal of the Year: Equity” - Sea Ltd.’s U.S. IPO
• “Private Equity Deal of the Year” - Nord Anglia Education’s $4.3 billion privatization

The awards celebrate achievement, excellence and innovation in the legal profession and honor the best work in the region.
