IFLR Europe Awards 2018

International Financial Law Review (IFLR) recognized Kirkland & Ellis with two awards at the IFLR Europe Awards 2018. The Firm won “Private Equity Firm of the Year” and “Private Equity Deal of the Year” for its work representing Bain Capital and Cinven on their EUR 5.4 billion joint public takeover of the German pharmaceutical company Stada Arzneimittel AG — the largest private equity transaction ever realized in the German market to date. The annual IFLR Europe Awards are “based solely on legal innovation” and focus on deals and teams that “break new legal ground and set market precedents.”
