Industry Best Awards 2018

BankruptcyData, published by Next Generation Research, Inc., named Kirkland & Ellis the “Top Ranking Law Firm” in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Industry at its 2018 Industry Best Awards. Kirkland was ranked in first place for its work serving as debtor attorney in five of the 10 largest Chapter 11 filings of 2017 and advising on 18 total Chapter 11 filings last year. The Firm was noted for its “well-rooted reputation as the industry leader in corporate restructurings.”

BankruptcyData’s Industry Best Awards track the efforts and accomplishments of law firms, investment bankers, claims agents and financial advisory firms within the corporate bankruptcy industry. Rankings are based on quantitative and qualitative criteria, focused primarily on internal data and league table analysis. The award was presented at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 36th Annual Spring Meeting.
