Cressey Raises Largest Fund

"Healthcare-focused investment firm Cressey & Co. LP said Monday, June 18, it had raised $995 million for its latest private equity fund, surpassing its $750 million goal. Cressey & Co. Fund VI LP launched in March and had a single close at its hard cap on June 8. The fund is nearly 62% larger than its predecessor, which closed with $615 million in December 2014.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP served provided Cressey with legal advice on the fundraising."
