The Lawyers: A well-known figure at the antitrust Bar, Andrew Langan devotes a substantial portion of his general commercial litigation practice to this field. His recent work has included ongoing representation of BP in a case relating to Alaska crude oil. He also continues to act for Abbott Laboratories in prescription drug litigation. Clients praised James Mutchnik for his "perspective and contact book" from his time spent as a prosecutor. His practice now combines civil and criminal antitrust matters. Sources perceive him to be "really taking the lead in antitrust merger work." He acted as lead antitrust lawyer for Concord EFS on its $7 billion proposed merger with First Data.
