Kirkland & Ellis Expands

Kirkland & Ellis' Corporate Workout and Bankruptcy Practice added five associates this month. 

Ryan Nadick joined from Arthur Anderson, Steve Kotarba joined from Reno & Zahm, Jonathan Friedland joined from Schiff Hardin & Waite, Deanna Boll joined from McCarter & English, and David Seligman joined from Jenner & Block. Additionally, Joseph Schorer joined as of counsel.

Kirkland's Group, based out of Chicago and New York, and headed by James H.M. Sprayregen, employs approximately 25 full-time bankruptcy workout restructuring attorneys.

Presently pending Chapter 11s in which Kirkland represents the debtor include Harnischfeger Industries, Inc., Sabratek Corporation, and AmeriServe Food Distribution, Inc., all in Delaware; Jitney-Jungle Stores of America and The Babcock & Wilcox Company, both in Louisiana; and Telegroup, Inc. in New Jersey.
