Bankruptcy Lawyer Leaves Goldman for Law Firm

James Sprayregen will re-join Kirkland & Ellis from Goldman Sachs.

"Mr. Sprayregen said his time at Goldman had taught him more about the financial side of bankruptcy, including a company's operations and balance sheets. 'I was touching a different part of the elephant, dealing with lot of the different issues that lawyers don't necessarily have a lot of experience in,' he said.

But he said he began to miss the practice of law, and a little more than a week ago reached out to Kirkland."
