Sprayregen’s Homecoming

James Sprayregen will return to Kirkland & Ellis as a co-head of the Firm's restructuring group. He was previously at Goldman Sachs in New York. 

"Sprayregen said his time at Goldman helped him better understand the financial side of restructurings. 'With what I saw coming down the pike, I thought I was better situated to help clients from the law side,' he said.

Rival bankruptcy attorneys welcome his return. 'His clients and the lawyers who work with and opposite him will be better off for his return to the practice,' said David Heller of Latham & Watkins."
