Chambers' comments:

District of Columbia Ranking: Tier 3

Winning respect for its standing in defamation work, this small, four-lawyer team is a new entry to the rankings. Thomas Yannucci leads the First Amendment and defamation group. Admired as "one of the best plaintiff's lawyers around," he has had a string of defamation and libel successes. He recently defended the makers of a top US TV series in a case claiming the stereotyping of Italian Americans.

Media & Entertainment: Copyright & Contract Disputes
New York: Other Notable Practitioners

Admired for her "passion, quick-thinking and broad experience," Dale Cendali is considered a huge asset for the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Having joined in 2009, she commands the respect of the market for copyright, trademark and complex contract disputes. She has represented MySpace in a copyright infringement action launched by Universal Music Group.
